The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra will be the top of the line in the Note 20 series. The device features a 6.9-inch OLED panel with the QHD+ resolution coming at 1440 x 3088 pixels. The display supports HDR10+ and the panel has a refresh rate of 120Hz at FHD and 60Hz at the native QHD resolution.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max comes with similar display features but in a smaller package. The device is built around a 6.7-inch display with 1284 x 2778 pixels resolution. It’s a Super Retina XDR OLED display panel with no high refresh rate support.

Let’s change the order here. Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature the company’s latest and greatest chip, the A14. This in-house chip from Apple promises great performance while offering great battery life. This will be paired with 6GB and the storage options range between 128GB, 256GB and 512GB.
The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, on the other hand, is powered by the Snapdragon 865+. This is paired with 8GB RAM which will line up with 256/512GB of internal storage.

The Galaxy Note 20 Ultra features a triple camera setup like the S20 Ultra. This will be a combination of a primary 108 Megapixel camera and two other 12 Megapixel sensors. The 108 Megapixel camera will be paired with a wide-angle lens, the 12 Megapixel camera with a periscope telephoto lens and the other 12 Megapixel sensor with an ultrawide-angle lens.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max will feature a similar camera setup with a LiDAR sensor just like the iPad Pro. All three cameras on the iPhone 12 Pro Max are 12 Megapixel sensors. The camera on both these devices should be more than capable of pro photography as well as videography. With the new sensor-shift OIS and improved sensors, on paper, the iPhone 12 Pro Max is far ahead in the competition. Add to that the ability to record 10-bit 4K Dolby Vision HDR videos. Apple just blows the competition out of the metaphorical water.

is likely to hover around the $1099 price is set at $1299 for the base model with the official launch set for August 21. The iPhone 12 Pro Max starts at $1099.
