Garmin Venu SQ and the Garmin Venu SQ Music smartwatches will feature a square display.
Garmin will launch two new wearables this month with a square display – Venu SQ and the Venu SQ Music edition. Both these smartwatches feature a 1.3-inch display with 240 x 240 pixels resolution, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 4.

The Garmin Venu SQ music edition will come with an additional 4 gigabytes of internal flash storage installed. It will play up to 500 music tracks directly from the wearable with an embedded music player. The watch will be coming with an LCD display rather than OLED. And will come in multiple color options with 20 sports tracking modes including Yoga, running, and cardio.
Both the standard SQ and SQ music variant will sport a GPS, Bluetooth, SOS function, and a heart rate sensor. Moreover, these will feature an index to know the oxygen content of the blood, NFC for contactless payment. The smartwatch will have six days of battery life and is 5 ATM water-resistant.
The price of Garmin Venu SQ and the Garmin Venu SQ Music smartwatches in Germany is expected to hover around for 200 Euros and 250 Euros respectively.
Another smartwatch that might launch alongside the Venu SQ series is the Garmin Forerunner 745. The details of Forerunner 745 is still under wraps.
