Nvidia will go official with the Geforce RTX 3070 on October 15th.
Gigabyte is slowly picking the pace to announce the new Ampere based RTX 30 series card. The company has showcased two cards in this portfolio. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 GAMING OC and RTX 3070 EAGLE OC are the latest additions. The cards feature 5888 CUDA cores and 8GB GDDR6 memory.
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 GAMING OC
The GAMING OC is a 2.25-slot card which features a triple-fan cooler design. All the three fans on the RTX 3070 GAMING OC are 80mm. RTX 3080 GAMING OC on the other hand features a single 80mm fans and two 90mm fans. RTX 3070 GAMING OC also comes with two DisplayPort connectors and two HDMI 2.1 ports. While the HDMI configuration remains the same as the RTX 3080 GAMING OC, RTX 3070 only has two DP connectors instead of three. The custom board has a 6-pin and an 8-pin connector as well.
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3070 EAGLE OC
RTX 3070 EAGLE OC features the same triple 80mm fan design like the GAMING OC. The main difference between the RTX 3070 GAMING and EAGLE cards is that the former is a 2.25-slot card while the latter is a dual-slot card.
The price of the Gigabyte RTX 3070 GAMING and EAGLE have not been mentioned by the company. But seeing that Nvidia is pricing the RTX 3070 for $499, we can expect these cards to touch $999 or higher.
