Gionee F8 Neo will be an entry-level device.
Gionee’s next entry-level smartphone F8 Neo was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with 154 points in a single-core test and 736 points in a multi-core test. As per the Geekbench 5 listing, the device will come with a 2 GB RAM and will be driven by an octa-core Spreadtrum UniSoC SC9863A processor, powered by 1.20Ghz clock speed.
The F8 Neo will run on the Android 10 operating system out of the box and is expected to come with a 32 GB of internal storage (expandable up to 128 GB via microSD card) and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device is set to feature a rear-mounted fingerprint reader and will have a single rear camera of 13 MP and an 8 MP front selfie shooter.
Additionally, the rumor mill hints towards the 5.7-inches LCD display with 2.5D curved glass and is expected to be equipped with a 3000 mAh battery setup. Although there is no official word from the company about the launch date and pricing, the Gionee F8 Neo price is expected to be around $80.
The company has recently launched Gionee M30 smartphone in the market. To recall, this mid-range device features a 6-inch HD+ screen display with 720 x 1440 pixels resolution, is powered by MediaTek Helio P60 processor paired with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB onboard storage. There’s a single 16 MP camera at the back of the device and for selfies, users get an 8 MP camera. There is a fingerprint sensor at the back of the device. The M30 price for the single 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage is Yuan 1399 (approximately $202).
