Honor Hunter launch date confirmed, price and specifications

Honor Hunter gaming laptop series to launch alongside two new smartwatches. Honor Hunter launch date set to September 16.

Huawei will launch the Honor Hunter gaming laptop series on September 16, at an online event in China. The company will also launch two new smartwatches, one of which resembles the recently launched Huawei Watch Fit. Honor Hunter laptops are expected to feature Intel chips, RGB-backlit keyboard with a special key engraved, and an illuminated ‘Hunter’ logo at the back of the laptops along with lightened-up borderlines.

The teaser video leaked a few days back for one of the Honor Hunter models ( V700) hinted towards the Intel Core i7 chipset. The two other variants under the same model number, FRD-WFD9, and FRD-WDG9 are also likely to be announced on September 16. The global launch and price of Honor Hunter gaming laptops are still under the wraps.

There are details available about the two new smartwatches. But, these could be the Huawei STIA smartwatch and Huawei FDS models. The Huawei STIA smartwatch is expected to comes with an AMOLED screen display, a 2 weeks battery life, heart rate monitoring technology, and GPS support. One of the key upgrades the new STIA smartwatch will feature is the 100 meters water resistance as compared to 50 meters in other Huawei’s watches and all new notification user interface to make it faster and smoother to use.

On the other hand, the Huawei FDS seems to be a smart band and will be powered by both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity along with NFC, and paired with 128MB of internal storage. It will likely offer ten days of usage time with a single charge power, and oxygen saturation detection, along with a smart heart rate tracking.
