Huami is reported to launch the Amazfit Band 6 soon.
Huami Amazfit Band 6 has been in the headlines for a while with some specs of the device earlier leaked online. Today the specs of the upcoming fitness band have been confirmed thanks to a tipster. Amazfit Band 6 features updated internals and now promises a longer battery life.
Talking about the features, the company promises 15-day battery for the band but with power saving mode, users can extend it to 25 days. The band also comes with a feature to check the blood-oxygen saturation levels as well. For the specs, the bank comes with a 1.1-inch always-on display which is an OLED panel with a resolution of 126 x 294 pixels. The device runs the latest version of the Amazfit OS.
The band comes with a 125 mAh battery which promises 15-day usage. There are 11 new sports modes with support for blood-oxygen saturation measurement. Other features include bio tracker and 24 hours of heart rate tracking. The band has 5 ATM water-resistant, pressure-sensitive button and 45 plus watch faces. And there’s also the support for Amazon Alexa built-in here. The storage needs are managed through the Amazfit app.
The COVID-19 pandemic is wreaking havoc which has made the companies reiterate on the concept of fitness bands and smartwatches offering more features to help users avoid this situation. With the Amazfit Band 6, new features like the SPO2 sensor which will be paired with the Health Assessment System shows a focus into the countermeasures. The band also comes with women’s health record reminder in addition to the stress detection feature. There are new modes to help in breathing exercises and the band also has sleep tracking features.
The band also comes in Olive, Midnight Black & Orange colours but the official pricing isn’t available at this time.
