LG K31 (LM-K310IM) clears multiple certifications, to launch soon

LG LM-K310IM is expected to launch later this month.

LG K31 will be the next affordable budget-friendly smartphone from the South Korean giant and the device has been already spotted on Google Play Console and Geekbench. Now, live images of LG K31 surfaced on FCC certification. The image shows the dual-camera setup at the back of the device with an LED flash. There’s a punch-hole style selfie camera at the front, and volume rockers along with the power button are on the right side.


LG made its way on FCC with model number LM-K310IM and will come with a 3.5 mm audio jack and a MicroUSB port. According to the Geekbench database and Google Play console listing, the device will come with a water-drop display, 720 x 1520 pixels resolution, 280 dpi screen density, 2GB of RAM, Mediatek MT6762 Helio P22 chipset, and will run on Android 10 operating system out of the box.

K31 features a 4x ARM Cortex-A52 (2000 Mhz) and 4x arm cortex-A53 (1500 Mhz) CPU along with Imagination Tech PowerVR GE8320 (650 Mhz) GPU. The official price and the release date are still under the wraps, but it is expected to be rolled out soon and the price will hover around $130.

Another smartphone from the company in the works is the LG Q92. The Q92 was recently spotted on the Geekbench database with key specifications. LG Q92 5G  will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset with an octa-core processor, Adreno 620 GPU, 6G of RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage.

LG is also working on a foldable device. The codename for this rollable smartphone is Project B but the official name is still unconfirmed. The display for this device will be provided by BOE.
