OnePlus KB2001 spotted in benchmarks, could it be the OnePlus 8T?

OnePlus KB2001 believed to be the OnePlus 8T was spotted in GeekBench.

With the OnePlus Nord out in the open now, the company’s focus for the future. Offering base model phones with lower price and high-end specs and another premium segment in the same range as the Samsung and Apple devices. OnePlus 8 series is the best example for this with the price range that it retails for. Another OnePlus is in the works which have been with the model number, KB2001. The OnePlus KB2001 is believed to be the OnePlus 8T which has seen leaks in the past few days.

OnePlus KB2001 Specs

The device was seen in GeekBench in full glory sporting impressive internals but with downgraded RAM configuration. Some of the details of the device look similar to the OnePlus 8. To start off with the basics, the device runs on a Snapdragon 865, same as the OnePlus 8 series which is paired with 8GB RAM.

These two details itself are evident this very well will be the OnePlus 8T. Speaking on the performance numbers, the device scored 912 points in the single core test and 3288 points in the multi-core test. If the details doesn’t sound convincing enough, the device is also running Android 11 which lays the concrete foundation it’s a future OnePlus device.

The OnePlus 8T is expected to feature a 64 Megapixel camera with the other sensors being the 16 and 2 Megapixel ones. There are the rumours that the device could feature 65W Super Warp charging. In terms of device, we shouldn’t expect much change with the curved display and back. This will be enclosed in a glass sandwich body and this time around, wireless charging as well.

There is no official confirmation of when the device will be officially announced. An early September launch is expected though, just in time when the new iPhone 12 series are ready.
