Oppo F17 Pro was teased by the company yesterday in a poster. The device will be launching in India in September. And as per the company, this will be the sleekest phone measuring 7.48mm and 164g weight.
Did we mention F17 series in the title? Yes, it was no mistake. Although Oppo teased the F17 Pro new details have come in today detailing that there will be two devices in the F17 series.
Oppo F17 series will include the F17 and F17 Pro. These will be mid-range smartphones featuring 5G support as well a capable camera setup. Oppo shared the official colour options available for the Oppo F17 series. This will include, White, Blue, Orange, Grey gradient, White gradient and Blue Gradient. The picture also adds the tagline “Flaunt it your way” with the device in the aforementioned colours.
Oppo F17 series specs
The base model F17 will mostly pack similar specs like the Pro model but with a downgraded CPU. The F17 Pro is believed to arrive with the MediaTek Helio G85 which means we should be seeing a similar series SoC on the F17. The F17 Pro will likely feature a 90Hz 6.4-inch display with FHD+ (1080 x 2400 pixels) resolution. There’s a quad-camera setup at the back with a primary 48 Megapixel camera paired with an 8 Megapixel camera and two other 2 Megapixel cameras. For selfies, there’s a 32 Megapixel camera featured as well.
The device also features 4400 mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. The F17 series will be a sub $450 smartphones. The official announcement is set in September. With the likes of OnePlus offering a more premium OnePlus Nord in the same price bracket, how will it’s sister company stack?
