Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Gold color option is expected to be announced this month.
[Update]: Note 9 Pro Max Champagne Gold launched in India for the 6GB / 8GB model for price tag of Rs. 18,260 and Rs. 22,999 respectively. It is available for open sale on e-comm site Flipkart.
Xiaomi had announced Redmi Note 9 Pro Max back March this year and the device got officially released in May in three different color options: Glacier White, Interstellar Black, and Aurora Blue. Now, according to one of the tipsters, the company is looking to launch an all-new Gold color option for the Note 9 Pro Max in the next few weeks. Last month, Redmi Note 9 Scarlet Red color option was launched by the company in India and received a tremendous response from the customers.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Max price and specifications
The Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G octa-core chipset, Adreno A618 GPU, and has a 64GB / 128GB of internal storage paired with 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4x RAM. The device features 16.9cm (6.67-inches) FHD+ resolution DotDisplay, 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, 450nits brightness, along with different display modes: Standard mode, sunshine mode, night mode, along with a color temperature adjustment.
The Note 9 Pro Max runs on MIUI 12 based on the Android 10 operating system, supports dual SIM support, microSD expandable up to 512GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.0, and has NavIC support / GPS / A-GPS / Galileo/ GLONASS / BeiDou. Under the hood, the device has a 5020 mAh Li-Polymer battery, with 33W fast charger in-box, USB Type-C reversible connector port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, a single speaker, Smart PA, and an ambient light sensor.
The camera specifications include 64 MP AI quad-camera with 8 MP ultra-wide lens, 5 MP macro camera, and a 2 MP depth sensor, along with an LED flash. The 32 MP in-display front camera takes care of selfies. The price of the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max Gold color option is likely to be price INR 17,000 for the 6GB model.
