Tecno BC1 will be the next entry-level smartphone from the company.
Tecno is working on a budget-friendly smartphone with entry-level specifications and an affordable price tag. This upcoming device appeared on the FCC certification with the model number BC1 and is expected to come with a dual-camera setup at the back of the device along with an LED flash. According to the FCC listing, it features 16GB of internal storage (expandable via micro SD slot) with a 4,900 mAh battery and dual SIM support.
The other specifications of the BC1 model are still under the wraps. It is expected to release in multiple countries in September including in Indonesia, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Europe, and Thailand. Although there is no word on price, the Tecno BC1 price is expected to hover around $125.
Tecno will also launch Camon 16 Premier on September 3rd at an AR-based online event in Kenya. The device Tecno Camon 16 Premier features a MediaTek G90 processor paired with 8GB RAM, 6.9-inches FHD+ LCD screen display, and will run on the Android 10 OS out of the box. It is equipped with a 4500 mAh battery with 33W rapid charging technology. The device has a quad-camera setup at the back with 64 MP main camera and dual cameras at the front of the phone.
Tecno Spark Go (2020) will also be launched in India on September 1 at an online event. The device is expected to come with a 6.52-inches HD+ LCD display with a water-drop notch design, 720 x 1600 pixels resolution, and a 32GB of internal storage. It is speculated to feature 5000 mAh battery setup and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
