Tecno CE9 is expected to launch in September.
A few days back we reported about the Tecno working on an affordable smartphone KE5 with a triple camera setup at the back of the device. Now, the company will also soon launch a premium 5G smartphone dubbed Tecno CE9 and the same device has been spotted on FCC certification. It was also earlier spotted on the Geekbench database. The CE9 is expected to feature MediaTek Helio G90T gaming chipset with a dual-core 2.05 GHz based on ARM Cortex-A76 and Hexa-core 2.0 GHz from Cortex-A55 and Mali-G76 MC4 GPU.
According to the design shared by one of the tipsters, the CE9 has a square-shaped quad-camera setup at the back of the device, with an LED flash. It will come with 128GB onboard storage (expandable via microSD slot) paired with 8GB RAM and will run on the Android 10 operating system out of the box. The CE9 smartphone will be a gaming-specific device for premium users. It scored 519 points on a single-core test and 1625 points on a multiple-core test.
Under the hood, the Tecno CE9 is expected to feature a massive 6000 mAh battery setup for a long and smooth gaming experience. It is expected to release in September in multiple countries including in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Europe, South Africa, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Philippines, and Thailand.
Although there is no word on price, the Tecno CE9 price is expected to hover under $300.
The company will a couple of smartphones in the next two months including the Tecno Pop 4, Tecno KE5, and Tecno Camon 16 Premier. The Camon 16 Premier specifications have also got revealed in the latest Google Play Console listing.
