ZTE Axon 20 5G official renders leak

ZTE Axon 20 5G will be the first smartphone to feature an in-display camera.

ZTE after the successful launch of the nubia gaming smartphone, RedMagic 5S is now preparing a mid-range for the masses. Axon 20 5G has been in the rumour mill for a long time. We have the official announcement date for the device which is set for September 1. This is the theme these days, whenever the official date is announced, the rumour flood gates open and we see more and more details of the device popping up every day.

Today is no different, ZTE Axon 20 5G official renders have leaked online by a tipster. The tipster also shares the spec sheet for the device apart from the renders.

ZTE Axon 20 5G official pictures leaked. But what’s the hype about?

From the leaked renders of the smartphone, we can see a thin bezel smartphone and there seems to be no notch or cut-out on the display which means that the early rumour of the device featuring an in-display camera is now confirmed. The device comes with familiar button layout with power and volume rocker buttons on the right. The Axon 20 5G also features an in-display fingerprint sensor. At the back, there’s a visible rectangular hump for the camera and Axon logo below. The back side also features similar gradient found in other ZTE smartphones.

We are looking a 6.92-inch display with FHD+ (1080p x 2460 pixels) resolution at the front of the device. The device has a total dimension of 172.1 x 77.9 x 7.9mm. Yes! this will be a thin smartphone but not that thin since there’s a hump at the back featuring a quad-camera setup. There’s a primary 64 Megapixel camera paired with an 8 Megapixel camera and two other 2 Megapixel cameras. The in-display selfie camera is a 32 Megapixel camera setup here.

Under the hood is a Snapdragon 765G SoC powering the device. There are also three flavours of the device with 6/8/12GB RAM and 64/128/256GB storage respectively. The device also comes fitted with a 4120mAh battery with support for rapid charging.
